This section will walk you through the basic steps to get started with the Fish web application.
The Fish web application is a modern web-based application. In order to use the application, you will first need to create an account.
After creating an account, you will need to sign in to the application.
After signing in, you will be redirected to the dashboard.
The dashboard is the main page of the application. It gives you a quick overview of your classes, students, and attendance.
The onboarding process will guide you through the basic features of the application and help you create your first class and student.
Once you have completed the onboarding process, you can start using the application and use it to mark attendance and record fees.
Info: The onboarding process can be skipped if you prefer to set up your classes and students manually. You can always access the onboarding guide from the help menu.
The onboarding process is designed to help you become familiar with how to use the basic features of the application. The steps are as follows:
Navigate to Classes
Class Information
Save and Repeat
Tip: Use names and descriptions that are meaningful to you, like “Grade 11 Batch 1” or “Upper Sixth Saturday”.
Navigate to Students
Student Information
Guardian Information
Save and Assign
Note: Make sure to get accurate contact information from guardians as this will be used for important communications.
Now that you have created a class and a student, you can start using the application to mark attendance and record fees.
Take Attendance
Record Fees
Now it is easy to track which students have been regular with attendance and fees.
Important: It is not possible to mark or edit attendance for previous days. Attendance can only be marked for the current day.
